Hello, Iv'e added the DISPLAY variable, rebooted the system, now there is no entry in var/dt/Xerrors I have to wait until monday to look at the Display, because i only have a serial connection to the system now. Hope login works now! If not any other ideas why the login menubar is missing...- elmo123

Hello, Thanks for your reply! I can't reboot the system till monday, but I've done a printenv. The DISPLAY entry is missing.... But I can't find the setenv command.. Regard's Elmar- elmo123
