Without sounding even harsher, if you think that by following the Microsoft Knowledge Base article things always work, those Certifications must be text book and not real world experience.
Basically I followed the article and set everything up. When I log in as the user and make changes to the...
I tried to follow a knowledge base article on setting up a Roaming User Profile and it didn't work. Can anyone give me step by step on a Roaming User Profile setup? All users on the network will log normally on one pc each except for one particular user who will log in all over the place. He...

I am looking for a Instant Messenger Program that looks for users and pops up on the screen when you get a message. It also needs to be able to pop up on a 2000 Terminal Server for the specific user that is on and the other users on the Terminal Server not get it.
Other than that, all of these...
If I have Exchange running and I share a calendar. If I sync with a phone, does it pull the data off of the exchange and put it back when I sync it back up? Also can I share a calendar in Exchange and it be modified by other users??
I had a customer with a Enterprise Server running Exchange. The Exchange was not being used very much except for a calendar on one pc.
THey didn't tell me about it until I had installed a new Small Business Server. When I went to the local machine to retrieve the PST file it didn't exist. I...
You need to slave it via IDE cable and not USB ESPECIALLY if this is a Western Digital. They are horrible about failing when connected to USB. Then get a data recovery software. There are several good ones for about $100. Just download the trial and you will know if they work or not.

How would you configure it if you wanted to have internal email (.local) and then still have email delivered from a POP3 address to your local box? And is there any way to send email out of that pop3 from your .local?
I was told also that you can't use Remote Outlook Web if you didn't setup...

Your Norton AV bites for one. Get online and run an online scan at www.antivirus.com Then if you can't delete the virus you will have to slave the hard drive to another computer with current AV. Norton by default passes Trojans because it is set to clean viruses and you can't clean a Trojan.

Download Microsofts spyware beta and run it. Then uninstall that and download spysweeper from www.webroot.com, then if you still have any of this junk you will have to boot to safe mode and edit the registry.
