I have found the answer - has to do with an accounting program called PPC. You have to go into the registry localmachine\software\micrisoft\office\excell\addins and click on the wpbi and change the load balancer setting from a 3 to 1.
Maybe it's me but I don't see what the cause or fix was can anyone help out on this? I'm also in an accounting firm and would like to know which program it was?
What is interesting for me is this happens when the users are off line and not on the network.
