Compress files before backup
Does anyone know if this option compresses files before network transmission (at the host being backed up) or at the back up server. I am trying for faster backups across a slow link.
Any help would be appreciated
Wondering how Arcserve 6.61 knows when to carry out a monthly backup, does it count the days from when you created/started the GFS job or is it intelligent enough to use the date?
Thanks in advance
