Now that I have done this, the footer seems to form the same size as the <pagecontent> and sit just below it instead of siting at the base of the page. Mozilla Firebollox seems to wack my footer at the top.

The width is fixed, yes. I is different on once page as it becomes an information bar but i'll just use a different css for that.
Problem with floats is I can't seem to specify stay in this zone, it sill drops between other divs.

So with regard to structuring the site what would be the most recommended method so that updating is of ease concerned with the images still. At the moment it can take a fair while to ensure the site is updated quickly.

I have 9 machines on the wireless network, 2 of which are xp home.
The XP home machine does not show up in Network Neighbourhood and cannot view any other machine on the network. It can use the internet connection however. I have tried pinging the machine and i get a time out response...
That's weird, i tried it again after closing the application and it worked great using the _parent property. Thank you for your help, I'm sure it'll go wrong again. :)
