Thanks r937. For whatever reason those first two options won't work, but the third one did. It's a small enough database (~1000 employees) that I can't imagine the inefficiencies are worth worrying about.

I figured it out. The company that we registered the URL with (GoDaddy) was serving our page in a frameset, so I needed to go in and replace every call to window.top with window.top.frames[0]. Siiigh.
