There is a work around - sort of. This only works for Calls, not ToDo. Go figure.
I now use ToDo for long term tasks, and put the date (ie 060517) at the beginning of each line so it sorts by due date. I don't set the Due Date field at all so ToDos aren't all red. For calls you can do the same...
To change what is displayed (or printed) in the daily, weekly and monthly calendar views you need to close sidekick then edit the xxxxINIT.SKW file.
Cal.LT=Calls
Cal.LB=To Do
Cal.RT=Appointments

I had the same problem and discovered it was my virus scanning software (McAfee). It was set to "watch" all files. I changed it to watch only executables etc and sidekick saved in a flash. This may be your problem.
