We installed a new backup server with Windows Server 2003 SP1 and Brightstor v9 (build 2200). We use SQL as our asdb. Every time we do a backup, we only see the sessions information and no detail in any of the sessions (even if Record Detail Information is selected in the Global Options)...
I created a CD using the ISO image (ESX 2.1.2) that I downloaded from the VMware site, but the CD won't boot. If I use any different bootable CD in the server, it works. Anyone experiencing the same or having a solution?

1- No space problem where Arcserve is installed (over 4Gb free)
2- Haven't experienced database corruption problem
3- There are 4 files less than 1Mb in the temp folder under Arcserve folder

Since couple of days, whatever media I use (new, blank or else) I receive an e6096 error message in Activity log and the media is shown as unreadable media. If I try to erase it to put it blank, then I have an e6001 message.

I had to enter an SQL account to expand and select the databases, but to start the backup I had to enter an NT account with rights to backup.

Yes both services are running. I connect to the remote machine using NT/2000 security and for the sql agent, I use sql security. When I select sql server as the source, I'm able to expand the databases.
