How can I create a group summary of a detail amount field without exceeding a specified amount? I have done a formula for the group total, but cannot produce a grand total of that formula field since it is not directly based upon the detail. This is my actual objective. Thank you

I am using version 8.5. It appears to be mostly formula fields that are cut off and the &quot;Can Grow&quot; option is grayed out and not available for these fields. Further information would be appreciated.

At times when a number in Crystal has no decimal (105123), when exported to Excel it is made a decimal and cannot be reformatted (105123.00). Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks

The stop button works for me but only when records are being actively retrieved. It in the period before the records are being counted (at bottom of screen) that I was needing to be able to break out of the query. Thank you anyway!

To clarify, like the last post said, I am wanting to stop the query before records are retrieved.

Is there a way to stop a report from running once it has started running? I know once records are being pulled you can press the stop icon, but can anything be done before this point. Thank you

I have a main report linked to a sub report. If there are no records on the given date on the main report, I do not get any records returned in the sub report. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks

When running a report with a date range (minimum date and maximum date)how can I have the dates displayed match the ones I entered instead of listing the date of the first and last record. Maybe I did not describe my problem well. Any help would be appreciated.
