Solaris upgrade with Veritas filesystem
Hi, I am upgrading from solaris 2.5.1 to solaris 5.8. I have got veritas 3.0.3 installed on which I have data disks. When the upgrade is completed, the server is not able to boot, it says that incompatible kernel for vxvmboot. Is there any specific way for this kind of upgrade or what other...- Samirjha

NISPlus query
Hi, I have got 2 servers which are running 2.5 and have got nisplus configured. I want to upgrade one of them to 5.8, which is the client. Now , my query is, is it possible to have the nisplus server of a lower version (2.5) than the client (5.8). Thx in advance- Samirjha
