    ic. just wanted to know why it starts asking for a password now, i did recall tampering with the change password feature of dial up server is there anyway to restore its default setting? or something?

    a friend and I often connect modem to modem using dial up server, before it would work without requiring a password, but now when I dial to him it prompts a user logon whereas he doesn't even have any password and vice versa. hope anyone can help me. thanks.
