    Locking a logon id.

    I wish to be able to tell if a Tera logon id is in use. I have multiple ids for my jobs.....I wish to write a check routine to randomly assign the next available userid so more than one process at a time does not occur and blow my spool space.. Does anyone know of a way.....I would check...
