no i havent scanned for viruses and spyware. i am going to now though. all i am using is norton antivirus. is that sufficient?

I worked it out. I just searched for vsutil.dll and deleted it. That allowed me to install the program. It turns out that it is a file installed by Zonealarm. coz i installed it the last time, it was left there and Zonealarm didnt want to overwrite it. I hope this helps u lot out there.
