    Thanks for all the great responses. I found out that the phone company didn't do their job properly. Big suprise ;). Anyway once they actually switched the trunks to ground start from loop start everything started working perfectly.

    Problems with trunk to trunk transfers.

    This is a problem that we ran into also. You have to use ground start trunks on the Meridian PBX. Loop start trunks caused all sorts of problems on our end by not disconnecting calls right away. It would keep the port open for 3 or 4 minutes after the user had hung up on the remote end...
