XP Slower on 1.7 GHz than 98 on 400 MHz????
Our son has a HP 1.7 GHz. WinXP with 256Meg of RAM. It was running real slow. So i went in and defraged first. Then I added more Virtual Memory. ( More RAM would be the better choice) Go to Control Panel, click System, click the Advanced Tab, then Performance click Settings, then the Advanced...- magoo304
