Hi
I have a set of spreadsheets all of which have calculation fields on them.
I need to pose the following question on sheet 5
=IF(Sheet4!L11=1,"=",0)
Cell L11 on Sheet 4 is calculated from figures calculated on Sheet 3 which in turn are calculated from figures on Sheet 2.
At the moment I...
Hi
Am sure I've seen something somewhere which will help!
I want to have a formula which says something like:
if(A1=between15and22,1,0)
i.e. if cell A1 has a value between 15 and 22 then put 1 otherwise 0
Anyone know what I need to do.
Thanks
Hi
Is it possible to put more than one 'if' factor in one formula. My current formula says =IF(J84=0,"due",0) but I also want the cell to return zero if cell G84=0.
sorry! put this thread on in a panic as I need to get this done fast.
Should have mentioned that I have already put part of the 'calc' in the fields i.e. =Members!E3 automatically puts the members name in. Then I realised that I will have to change the 'E3' to 'E4' or whatever for each sheet...
Help! I have a list of members (complete with details such as address, tel number etc) on sheet 1. Sheet 2 is a membership form. each member has a unique membership number.
I want to physically type the membership number at the top of Sheet 2 and all the details are automatically transferred...
Hi
Just doing a timesheet/invoice for a client - managed to get a total of 52:20 hours for the week - but now need to be able to multiply it by, say, £30/hour. Obviously I need something more than =A5*B6 as this definitely gives me the wrong answer!
Can anyone help?
Hi
Just doing a timesheet which gives total hours spent in a week - then adds the weekly hours to give total for the month. Needless to say this ends up at over 24 hours - that's more than one day so it gives the wrong answer.
I've formatted the 'time' cells as hh:mm - guess maybe that's...
Hi
Had lots of problems with my laptop recently - lots of things disappeared! I have an ICC (think that translates as International Colour Code?) for my Epsom printer running on Artainium ink. Until the problems if I was printing to the Epsom all I had to do was click on 'profile to profile'...
Hi Guys
Thanks a million - you've rescued me before I tore my hair out! Reinstalling the factory settings by holding down F8 worked! Have been struggling with this for a while - wish I'd ambled on to tek-tips before.
Thanks again

Hi
I use CorelDraw 12. I have managed to 'lose' the ability to use the transformation key? Specifically I want to have the ability to have a menu at the side of my screen (is this called a docker?) which I can leave open while I am working on a document. I need to rotate the image but even...
Hi
Came on the site to find out how to get edges/filters on my photos and found this reply right away. Fantastic! Having been playing with this for ages - thanks a million for the help.

Hi - many thanks. "Formulas" was not checked however the cell was formatted to text. Have changed it to general and that seems to work. I got out of the 'mess' yesterday by creating a new sheet and re-creating the thing again being careful to get the array right first time - laborious but I...
Hi I have just switched to Excel 2003 and find that for some reason once I have typed a formula into a cell I can't seem to change it. When I alter the formula Excel then just displays the formula itself rather than the solution. I figure I must have one of the settings wrong but cant figure...
Hi
I need to fill several different shapes with the same text, in two separate formats
1. One or two words repeated over and over again until it fills the shape, i.e. Congratulations filling an entire square or oblong (hopefully without me needing to retype it enough times to fill it!!)...
Hi
I have two different printers which are set up and used for a variety of purposes.
I want (if possible) to save my files with the correct printer setting saved with it rather than having to change it each time. Is this possible?
i.e. File one - printer 1 set for A5 mirror image
File...
