Malcolm, I'm glad to have found your replies regarding record numbers. I'm a total newby in regards to Crystal 7. I tried the above suggestions but I'm not exactly sure where to start. Could you tell me exactly where I need to put the formula? What do I click to insert a formula? Any help...- vbergonia
