what I have done i done, temporarily, is to delete the page file on the c drive and use the the F drive..for now..and everything seems to install there with no problem..photoshop works..thanks for all your responses..of course the right way is to reinstall and reformat..but time will not allow...
Yes,you are right, I think I blew it..2 gigs for OS was not enough, no room for caching..emptied some stuff out of there and was able to install photoshop, but the computer has slowed down and i will have to reformat and allow more room on the C drive..thanks for your response.
What happens in custom install is that I use the browse and go to my f/ click on it..it's in the box, and just go to next..then i see a error message box that tells me that the C drive does not have enough room, as if it didn't recognize the f drive and that it is not a valid folder..

I reformatted my hard drive into 3 partitions. The C drive, which i allowed 2gigs has the os and utilities. the F Drive has apps and programs, G drive is for storage. I have tried to install photoshop on the f drive and it only wants the C drive..naturally it tell s me that the C drive hasn't...
