There is a network printer in the the Printers & Faxes window that does exist. No, the name hasn't been changed. And yes, I have priveledges. The spooler service is running & eating the CPU...when I stop/start the spooler, it acts fine. When I try to access the printer, the spooler goes nuts...
When I go into Printers and Faxes from Control Panel & double click on the network printer, I consistently get the 'Not Responding' thing & it freezes up. Any clues?
I have XP on my desktop. When I hit 'print', it gives me a permissions error, but I don't think that's the problem. I can print from windows. I cannot view printer properties & spoolsv.exe is sucking up the CPU like a bad junkie! Any ideas? :)
PS. I tried updates & restarting the spooler...
