ISSUE RESOLVED
Wow was this a weird one. The client company had created all the user accounts in AD by using Display name and pre-2000 domain log ins. Exchange requires the last name field of the AD object to be populated, otherwise it uses the alias field and ignores custom variables...
UPDATE:
The real problem here is that I am trying to use the % variables in the custom addresses. This is the part that is really necessary...was it changed in SP2?

Since installation of SP2 for Exchange (update from SP1...also updated Windows 2003 to SP1 at the same time as the Exchange SP2 install) RUS and recipient policies fail to apply.
I have to date:
Restarted Exchange System Attendant
Ran RUS update
Ran Recipient Policy update
Even the default...
You can simply restart in safe mode to delete the file, but what program is currently using it? Have you restarted since uninstall?

I need to move contacts from Lotus Notes to the Exchange server. I used a pabimport tool from Microsoft, and this imported the contacts into Outlook but only locally, so the users can not send to any of their own contacts. Anyone know a way to import these Notes contacts into Exchange or do...

You can check your local HOSTS file and see if you have any remote sites resolving to 127.0.0.1. If you do, delete these entries in HOSTS mfile. HOSTS file is found in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc.

Did you need to make any adjustments to the raid driver/bios versions during install or did you do your firmware after NOS install?

Impromptu 7 will not install on Windows 2003, it says I need NT or higher and then fails. We are trying to make Cognos available through our Terminal Server instead of on the client. Has anyone had this issue or know a workaround to get this installed on Windows Server 2003.
