Dexman, I will go with your recommendation. Fluke was always considered to be the top of the line back when I did test equipment repair and calibration. It looks like their reputation continues.

I have seen different threads talking about butt sets here but am not sure if these work on a digital extension as well as an analog one. I am always carrying around an actual phone for each type of extension to test with. There does need to be something better than that.

We have a 412 in our system now and need to add 12 more stations. The four analog ports on the 412 are being used for incoming POTS lines. Does it make sense to take out the 412 and add the 024 and 800GS? We do have two 024's in the system.
