Hi,
I want to make a button, that, when hit, closes the HTML-Document in which the .swf is embedded. Like an exit button for the flash animation; to simple unload this particular movie wouldn´t do it , since it is in fullscreen mode, and I want to shut down the whole thing.
If anyone knows an...
Thanx oldnewbie,
I´m using Win98 as well. And on my computer it always worked fine. It is just that I wanted to know what people might have to do, if they can view animation but can´t interact on their PCs.
Because that´s what happened.
I didn´t even know this could happen. I thought either the...
Hi,
Can anyone tell me, if there is a difference between the "normal" flash plugin, that you can get at macromedia.com, and activeX control???
Or is activeX a part of the plugin?
My experience is, with the flash player that comes with Microsoft I.E. 5.5 I am able to view...
Okay, but it does not close right away.
Any chance to get rid of that window? The User might think he closes the linked page.
What about putting it into the 2nd page (onload...)?!
Hi,
I try to open a page in fullscreen mode from within Flash.
As far as I know this is only possible by loading another page first, which then loads the actual page using
<body onload="openfullscreen()">
without anymore clicks.
So far, so fine.
But now I still have this first page...
I already posted this:
Trying to reach main timeline from button within movieclip symbol.
davdesign told me to use "level0/", I guess in addition to "telltarget".
It works, but the main movie just starts to play, i.e. "gotoAndPlay" does not work, somehow...
I already posted something like this. (Thanx Lizzie for helping me...)
What I did:
I made a movieclip symbol for a button to react on mouseovers & ~outs. Good. For the hit/press function within this movieclip symbol I want my main movie to react, to play or whatever, so how do I reach it...
OK, this is what I´m trying to do, respectively what I did:
I want a very small arrow (it is a font arrow) to work as a button. But since it is so small it is kinda hard to hit.
That´s why I put a transparent rectangle over it, sized so that it is comfortable to hit, and made it the button.
So...
I´ve had the same problem.
I can´t tell you exactly what to do to get rid of it.
Try to deactivate the 2nd monitor, reboot your machine, then open your fullscreen flash movie, close it, reactivate the 2nd monitor, and again reboot. It should work somehow, try a little. At least that´s what I...
onload is what I was looking for. Thanks a lot.
Is it possible to close the window that contains the onload="openfullscreen()" tag after it opened the new full screen window??
Okay, what I´m trying to do is to open a fullscreen window.
No problems so far. This is basically the script I use (I shortened it):
--------------------------------
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!--
function openfullscreen()
{...
Sometimes my library won´t open as well on the 1st try,
but I haven´t had this dragging problem so far. So I can´t help ya...
Sorry
Have you tried to reinstall the programm?! It might help.
Hey,
does anyone know, where I can get/download a real good lensflare thing, you know...(swf/fla)??!
By the way, if I load a 2nd .swf to my main .swf (this is all in fullscr mode) the quality really is bad. It gets even worth if there is an animation or two on top of it.
This is going to be an...
Hey, thanx for the file.
My problem was, that I expected it to blink within Flash. But as I know now, you have to publish it first.
All I can say is thank you Mr. Anderson.
Neo...
I know what you mean. Good idea.
Well, I did as you told me to, but if I put the movie on the stage, it still won´t blink, although it does blink, if I test it in the library ("Play"-Button).
I guess I should take a look at your .fla!
Thank you man...
Neo
Is there an easier way to make text or letters blink for a while, without using alpha-effect frame by frame?!
If anyone knows, please let me know.
Thanx
Neo...
