Hi,
Using Access 2000.
I am working on upgrading a database for a client and have come up against a bit of a problem during the final phase.
What I am trying to accomplish is to take the records from the existing(non-upgrade) database and copy them into the upgraded version.
The copying of...
Hi,
Apparently it is some problem between the POP3 Connector and the IIS Metabase.
I did the following to sort it out:
Run IMBREG.EXE from \program files\Microsoft Windows Small Business Server\Networking\POP3.
Cheers

Thanks for the reply.
The POP3 connector is all setup correctly i.e. Global mailbox, email domain all of that is correct.
I am receiving email okay, it is just that Exchange seems to be trying to deliver it to 2 different email addresses, 1 is correct the other has the mspop3connector added to...
Hi,
Using SBS 2003 & Exchange 2003
I had to re-install IIS and Exchange earlier today due to IIS becoming a bit pi**ed off with Sharepoint ( but thats another story :|).
The re-installation all went fine but there is now a strange issue with received emails, every email that is received is...
Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply, Unfortunately when I use the above code I get a runtime error '2448' - you can't assign a value to this object!
Any ideas?
I should have said I am using Access 2000.

Hi,
I have a button on a form that brings up a 'Filter by Form' query form.
The issue I have with this is that the form holds the paramaters of the previous query that was run in the form even once the form has been closed.
I have found the 'Clear Grid' function on the Edit menu but can't...
Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions but unfortunately none of them quite work with what I am trying to achieve or it is possibly (probably) my lack of knowledge with the reports system.
Anyway I have now handed this over :) to a couple of 'real' developers in the company and they can sort it out by...
Hi,
Thanks for the response, unfortunately I don't think it can work with the way the information is used.
I should have mentioned that the sub-reports all have a grouped header because the figures that are displayed are grouped by area. eg:
REPORT 1
Area Total
Area 1 3
Area 2 4...
Hi,
This problem is doing my head in as I don't think it should be a problem!!!!
I have a report made up of 3 Subreports:
Subreport 1 reports a set of figures and an unbound text box has a calculation in it to subtract one value from another, this all works fine
Subreport 2 reports a set of...
Hi
Thanks for the reply,
I got around the problem by creating a Public function to look for Null Values used in conjunction with the NoData Event in Access, basically stops the report from running and displays a message box informing the user that the search criteria cannot be met.

Hi,
I am in the process of re-doing someone else's reporting system which is a bit of a shambles.
The basic reports all ask for the same information when opened, this is query boxes asking for : Start Date, End Date, Section.
This all works grand if there is actually relevant data in *ALL*...
Hi,
I am having an identical problem with this. Strangely it seemed to start after BTOpenworld told all of its clients to check that their servers where not acting as Open Relays.
Any solutions to this - Anyone!!!

Hi,
Currently I am working on a project that will eventually end up being used on apple Mac computers.
I am using Excel 2000 on the PC for creating the input form and macros, the problem I have is that I do not have a Mac computer available to test on and for obvious reasons I do not want to...
Hi,
I am working on a simple user input form in Excel at the moment and everything is going along swimmingly, until I was informed that the users must be able to select Multiple categories from a combobox.
The categories are held in a separate sheet in the format of Column 1 = 3 digit alpha...
Had the same problem with easy CD creator, resolved the problem by installing program updates then installing latest drive updates, remember to re-boot the system between updates!
