Sorry for the delay, one of those weeks!
Anyway, I can't believe I was such a putz! That was of course the correct answer. I have another 8 or 9 db's all backing up with the WITH INIT command and these two were set to WITH NOINIT.
Amazing how you can miss the blindingly obvious sometimes isn't...
Hi all, long time no post :)
Done a search but can't find the solution so fingers crossed...
I have a small SQL Server 2000 database, only 2MB MDF and 2MB LDF files but my nightly backup is 318MB!
any clues please?
Thanks
Terry
p.s. I actually have two of these DB's acting the same.
I didn't say anybody was saying that it can't be done.
A question was asked, I answered it.
If I ask a question, I will think about the moral implications myself, but would still like all the possible options. This is one option. Not doing it is another.
Plus, I said I like to stir things up...
btw, fyi and all that, and because I like to stir things up...
onmousewheel="return false" in your select tag will do some sort of job for you

Wow, it's been a long time since I've been to these forums!
Anyhoo, try ColorTranslator.FromHtml("#ECECEC") which will return you a Color object

Well guys, thanks for your help.
I think what I'll do is use SQL backup for now, but also try to get 9.1 for the 2003 servers.
I appreciate your help, but I think we're fighting a losing battle here.
Thanks again
Terry

SQLBill
Apart from the fact that it's an active/active 2003 cluster, it's a pretty similar setup, so maybe that's the problem.

Open file option is there in case we need to back up any other files that may be on there.
Disabling it didn't make any difference.
I bypassed the tape and made...
Hi SQLBill
Doesn't that defeat the point of having the SQL Agent intalled?
And anyway, the other SQL Server Databases are backing up extremely quickly, so it's nothing to do with backing up SQL databases using BackupExec.
Thanks for your input, but I think we still need to be looking for...
Hi all
Long time, no post! :)
We've installed a new server cluster here and I need to backup some of the databases on it. Unfortunately, I'm limited to BackupExec 8.6.
When I back up the new databases, I'm only getting about 4-5 MB/min throughput, whereas using all the same kit, but backing up...
OK, like I figured then unfortunately.
Although on other projects, I do have the header and footer user controls, but the form tags are on the content page (so the user controls are outside the form tags) and that works OK. It's just the splitting of the tags that seems to be the problem...
Hi
OK, so can it be done?
To put it simply, let's say I have a header user control and a footer user control.
When I create a new webform, I want to drag these controls on and then type my content in between.
But if I put the <form runat="server"> tag in the header control and the...
Maybe this link will help too?

I believe you may be able to reference them through document.stylesheets collection.
I'm afraid I know no more than that, so maybe try a search....

I probably would bother! [smile]

To be honest, I'm not sure of the overhead. If anybody else is listening, they may have an idea of that?

Well if it was me, I probably wouldn't bother, but it would certainly make it easier if you changed the function. Then every page would use the new version automatically. It really depends on how many pages you are using it on.
Judgement call really.

It doesn't like the html comments around the script. Try taking them out. Away for a few hours now....
