    Bridged Appearance Strangeness

I set up bridged appearances on some 4606 IP phones of the main number of that department - now when a call comes in on the number more than one person can answer it at the same time and conference? Why is that?

Add Trunk Group to CMS for Reports

I have a G3r and CMS 9.0 - how do I add our trunk groups into CMS so we can run reports? Are there several steps that need to be done to see the information in reports? Thanks

    Trace Communications

Has anyone heard of a software called Trace that can capture faxes, voice calls and emails? Just wondering how it is integrated with a PBX and if there is anyone that has used it or is familiar with it? Thanks

    Call Center Recording Solution

Our biggest problem is not having a MapD card - so any solution that we have found still requires us to punch down each station - and if the agent moves we have to go in and move the cross connect. Not a good system.

    Call Center Recording Solution

Awwwww - it sucks having old technology. Thanks for all the information.

    Call Center Recording Solution

So - how would the aes server integrate with the PBX without map-d?

    Call Center Recording Solution

Thanks PBXKID - I will start digging a little more into this but if it still integrates the same way it could be perfect for us.

    Call Center Recording Solution

Thanks PBXKID - do you know how it integrates with the PBX? The last product I looked at had to have each channel 'hardwired' to the port off the switch that the agents were on - and would be an admin nightmare if the department plays "musical chairs" all the time. Something that sits in front...

    Call Center Recording Solution

No - that is fine. I appreciate anything you can tell me. I was told by one of our vendor that the cost of getting and provisioning a mapd card would be astronomical, so at that point we look at another solution they had - but to use it within the G3r platform we would have to punch down each...

    Call Center Recording Solution

That would be nice but because of current budget and cost restrictions I don't see us upgrading at this point - so, would using a cti server take the place of the mapd? how would the cti server integrate with the g3r? Thanks for all the information!

    Call Center Recording Solution

Well - we currently do not have a mapd and was told by our vendor that Avaya no longer supports (or will even license) a mapd for our system. Can we integrate it without a mapd?

    Call Center Recording Solution

It is a G3r with software R010r.....thanks Yeah - using the program to service observe would be great - you can then restrict recording with class of restriction?

    Call Center Recording Solution

Thanks....and with the exception of ECHO, I have heard about the others....my biggest question in how do they integrate with the PBX. We want to get away from the Voice Logger and punching down each channel to a port - something that sits in front of the PBX and can be administrated easily.

    Call Center Recording Solution

We are looking for a way to record our call center agents. We currently are using Voice Logger with our G3r switch - one problem is that each channel has to be hard wire to each port where the agent is - so everytime the call center plays musical chairs we have to repunch down everything. We...

    Faxes not going through

We are having an issue at night faxing documents to a hospital in Tampa. The faxes are going through but somewhere between here and there, chunks of the documents are missing. I tested the line - had dial tone and could not see any problems. We had the tech for the fax machine come in and he...

    Abandoned Threshold in CMS

Thanks....I think I am in the right place. I set up the thresholds and went into an existing custom report and renamed it and then changed the field for average abandoned time to ABNCALLS-ABNCALLS1 using information in the dsplit table. I think I will have to wait until tomorrow to see if it...

    Abandoned Threshold in CMS

Thanks - but I have never done a custom report - can I use an existing report and change it and save it as a custom report? Do I have to do this in Terminal Emulation?
