Will any other operating systems run on O2 system?
As it happens, I use an O2 as my personal workstation. The O2, like the Origin, Octane, and Onyx families, is a MIPS machine. AFAIK, there are no os's other than IRIX that run on MIPS, although SGI has been experimenting with Linux on MIPS in-house. I suppose it's conceiveable that somebody...- MaxAtMyricom
