We have had similar problems within our company. When our users login they pull through a mandatory profile. If we delete this profile and the index.dat file contained within word opens normally....for a bit!.. If anyone has a more permanent solution then I am all ears.
We are having problems where users who have a 4.5 and 4.6 mail file are unable to open attachments sent by CDONTS. They get the message 'invalid or non existant document'. If I opent he attachemnt using a 5 client I have no problems.
We run 5.10 on our mail servers
Any ideas?
