IBM 3494 shared library
I had alot of questions, i.e. How to keep NetBackup from seeing all the mainframe tapes?, When adding a drive it asks for the IBM device id, where do we gets this id ? The tlhtest utility will not unload and dismount tapes, IBM say's the function will not work due the library manager involvement...- supportdog

Is anyone out there using an IBM 3494 library with 3592J1A fiber attached drives on a Solaris master server and sharing the library between NetBackup and a Mainframe ????- supportdog
