    thanks, I have checked this and it seems that I have a problems with the db7srv services they are not running. When I re-initialise the database they start for a very short period and then stop again. I am having no luck in getting them running. Any ideas?

    I think you will have to contact HP or your Openview maintainer to get a new license key issued, the license is tied to the ip address of the nnm server. I believe you have to get a new licence as part of the upgrade to nnm7. Licensing seems to have changed with version 7. Depending what...

    NNM 7.0

    I believe this is supported in NNM 7 advanced edition through a feature called "overlapping address domains". I have only just installed release 7 so I have not really had time to explore it yet. Sorry I can't give you any more details.
