I haven't used these controls much and I not sure which one to use in my web app. I have a page that grabs a single row from a database that contains a lot of data. I want to display this one row of data in a nice looking format that I set up but I'm confused about the difference between thse...
We thought about the date but sometimes the guys who build servers put older versions on instead of the newer ones. File size might work too but even that may not be fool proof as a newer version might get streamlined and have a smaller size than an older one at some point. They are all...
Here is the situation... We have a small app that needs to be updated on several hundred servers. The upgrade itself is easy, just copy two files to the servers to replace the older ones.
We want to create a script to determine the current version of the files on the server and if that version...
Here is the situation
Right now Domain Admins can go the properties of a user account, go to the Exchange Advanced Tab, Mailbox Rights and assign a user "full mailbox access". We do this when an employee has left the company, gernally to give that person's replacement/supervisor rights to open...
Turns out it was a permissions issue, but not very easily found. Turns out these share are really cryptainers on a decru datafort and the ACL is supposed to sync between the ntfs permissions and the datafort and that wasn't happening. Too bad no one at my office told me that a week ago lol...
I even went so far as to grant them full control permissions on the db's and they atill get the same thing. Is there a setting in access itself that could opening them in read-only mode that I can clear?
They are accessing them direcrtly from the share, no shortcuts or anything like that. I installed access 2003 on another machine and everything works fine for me. Then I checked and my access 2003 is sp2 and they are using sp3 so I upgraded mine to sp3 as well.
Even with sp3 everyhting works...
We are in the process of moving files on our file server from one share structure to a new more organized structure on the same structure.
In my testing I set up a robocopy job to copy a departments files to the new structure and had them test to make sure permissions were good and that data...
I could easily use a db for this but the site is a small fan site and I don't think I really need a db. I have a few static pages but would like to use the ajax html editor to edit the pages from a password protected admin area.
Can I load a portion of a page into the editor and then save it...
Thanks, I made some small changes and used the same basic substring portion in my group by and it worked like a charm. It reduced 70k rows of specific http locations to 89 rows of domain names which will make our task a lot easier.
Okay here is my situation...
Our security on our network is very locked down. If a server needs web access to download an app or get updates etc, we have firewall rules that allow that server to that specific site.
Not a big deal for the most part. Right now our patch management system goes...
Ok here is what I'm trying to do and why:
My family are big NFL Tailgaters out here in Phoenix. I'm one of those idiots that dresses up and runs around like a fool but the fans love it. I have a website for it and have a few rss feeds from espn and fox sports that i use on my sites News page...
I've got a site that has an "About Us" section and under this section there will be a number of different categories like "About Us", "Our Services" "Pricing" etc etc and stuff like that.
What i wanted to do was have each subsection expand with details when the user clicked on the title of the...
We have two domains, domain A and domain B (a test domain for a proof of concept project). There is no trust between them and they use thier own dns servers and niether domain had dns entries for one another. Domain A as a TS license server on it. We pointed some servers in domain B to the TS...
I read over some documents on the Dell site that the MD3000i is hard coded to max out luns at 2 TB. I think thats silly since nowadays luns sometimes need to be bigger than that. Oh well I guess I'm stuck at 2 TB per lun. Now I know to order hardware hba's in my servers so i canc reate...
After speaking with the people we're setting this up for, they said it needs a 32kb partition infront of the partition we will install windows on. Whats the best way to go about doing this? I have a feeling I'll have to use some sort of third part disk partition software to do this. Anyone...
