i used partition magic pro 7.0....i deleted the partition
and did a clean install..when i said i fixed it, i replaced the system file from the c:\windows\repair. if i was not clear i am sorry.
go to start, settings,network connections. the right click on your connection then left click on properties go to the advanced tab and just put a check in the box.
my registry got corrupted when we had a power-outage
i reinstalled windowsXP and it boots up fine for a few
boots, but it corrupted again.
Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM.
any ideas?
can u just make the other partition active. bootup to the new drive the go to administrative tools then computer management, the old drive should showup, try to format it there if not then bootup with floppy. fdisk
