well, eth0 is connected to my dsl-modem, and with *** pppd pty "/usr/sbin/pppoe -I eth0" *** i tell linux to establish a connection with my dsl-modem via eth0, right? thats at least how I did it wit rh7.1 thanx for trying to help, though steral- steral
