As you obviously are aware of that, at least to the best of my knowledge, LEAP is Cisco Systems proprietary, I can tell you that I have come across some 3Com Wireless products that state in their specs they support LEAP. However, do not be surprised that it does not actually work, because they...
No, you can't as your NIC has to be set to either work in ad-hoc mode or in infrastructure mode(when connected to an Access Point). Why don't you connect your HP printer wirelessly to the AP as well, I think that's the way to go.

My comments in between lines:
problem: this is a large lan, and many ip's are showing up when we do a sho log to see which workstations are hitting the port....
--> I went sometime ago thru the same thing as you and segmenting the LAN was the way to go. It will make it easier for you to...
Can anyone provide a sample configuration for a Cisco Router as an IPsec tunnel terminator?
What configuration should be set on the Contivity client?
It seems like my Cisco router is not understanding the parameters the Contivity sends.
Below is the config following a debug output...

Hello,
When using Baynetworks Frame Relay switches, has anyone know how a port, configured as PVC-Backup, works?
Let´s assume there's two main locations, which ideally hold same addressing on both WAN/PVC and LAN interfaces, and a bunch of remote nodes. Every node has one PVC pointing toward...
Hello,
Obviously this may not be the right forum to drop this question off. Nevertheless I couldn't find a more suitable one. Here is my question, does anyone know or could provide a general guidelines on how to know what hardware a Nokia box should need?
I know RAM, for instance, should be...
Hi all,
My network consists of nearly 800 end-users, 200 of which are divided into 50 remote nodes having some DS0s, 128ks, and 256ks links. The 500 left are hosts connecting via dialup. At the Central Node where a T1 lies, a web/email server services these hosts. Is a Nokia IP380 enough to...
Thank you !
By the way, perhaps I am out of line when asking this question. But since this tunnel-Cisco router and Contivity- will be used as a backup of a T1 link, can the Contivity speak OSPF with a Cisco router? This way, whenever the T1 link goes off, the remote node, which is a Cisco...
All,
Is it possible settting up a site-to-site VPN IpSec tunnel if having the remote site with dynamic IP address?
Any pointers and sample configurations will be greatly appreciated.
cheers,
Hello,
Has anyone lately set up a VPN session between these two different vendor devices? If so, could you provide configuration samples? What is it needed to successfully accomplish this? The Cisco 800 is to establish a VPN session towards the Contivity, provided that end users won't need to...
Paul,
I went over your web page. Is this the link you want me to send or discuss over this issue?
http://www.notjustcomputers.co.uk/contactus.php
Or perhaps I missed your email contact ? Or is there a chat forum somewhere in this web page?
best regards,
I went through the same problem (nat statement "in use"). What has to be done is entering the "clear ip nat translations *". After doing so, your router will clear any still alive dynamic translations. Execute a "show ip nat translations". See if the cache is empty...
mdwu,
For having this 2nd T1, are you charged on a monthly basis? or only in case it may be used as a backup link? Because I would load balance traffic between them with static routes and end of the story.
cheers,
Why did you use a GRE tunnel? To maintain a live route through the backup line across the Internet?
Furhter, the ADSL provider will put in an ADSL modem. So an ethernet utp cable will be received instead, which will be connected to a router. But I guess the VPN tunnel sets up defining on the...
