    Hi Paul, Thanks for the Repsonse. I am also an oracle user so i was sort of stumped with this SQL Server Stuff. Anyways there is nothing in sql server like that. I solved this problem by specifying a New LOV which allowed for dd/MM/yyyy. Thanks once again for the response. regards, Ganesh R
