I think this happens whatever font I use - normally Times New Roman or Verdana.

Hi, I have similar problem in Microsoft office 2001 for mac, word. All other parts of office suite Ok, only apple menu, font and part of help dropdown menus working. toolbar reset does nothing.
disk defragged, all Ok.
Where is normal dot? is it same in macs? Is this a design fault?
