Word for PC and Mac - are their conflicts?
I think this happens whatever font I use - normally Times New Roman or Verdana. If someone sends me a Word PC doc, which I then work on and send back this happens - it feels like a conflict between PC and Mac versions of Office.- clivedurdle

I have MS Office for Mac 2001 running on latest mac os X via classic. Many times when I email what I assume is an ordinary word document with .doc on the end of the attachment, PC's fail to open it. Menu problems in MS Word
Hi, I have similar problem in Microsoft office 2001 for mac, word. All other parts of office suite Ok, only apple menu, font and part of help dropdown menus working. toolbar reset does nothing. disk defragged, all Ok. Where is normal dot? is it same in macs? Is this a design fault?- clivedurdle
