I've just recenty bought a new drive to back up our servers. It is a Quantum SDLT 600 that comes with DLTSage WORM so I can use standard media for traditional backup and WORM tapes for achiving purpose. WORM means Write Once, Read Many. AFAIK this is the first and only drive that uses both...
Gavin,
DAT72 tapes are not compatible with DDS4 tape drives. It works the other so you can read/write DDS3 and DDS4 tapes in a DAT72 drive.

Francoy,
don't know if you solved this but I would take a look at the General and Global rule sets. There you can set up things like the one you asked in your thread.

Gents,
I had the same troubles pushing the agent - and solved all of them with these two articles from the McAfee KB: kb38050 and kb40944
It's too much to post here, just search at the following link: http://knowledgemap.nai.com/KanisaSupportSite/search.do

akwong,
are they all at the same site? If so maybe there is a problem with the power supply.
I'd call APC and let them replace them onsite. If your UPSes are that "young" they sould still be in warranty.
BTW, I have around 130 APCs at my customers and none of them has problems that you...
AnnieBlueEyes,
does it happen only when she send or forward to users in her address book?
What happens when she sends to a user not in her address book?

I assume you guys use Outlook 2003.
Be careful using regedit and make sure all other programs (esp. Outlook) are closed!
You have to change the following registry key to the new location (i.e. D:\Temp)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security
Value Name...
kewlcoder,
I had this behaviour before and could solve it with the Inbox Repair Tool. It was because of a corrupted PST-file.
This KB article describes how to use it:

This is because it is no "real" virus, just some message with Nazi-text.
I have to deal with around 300 mails a day at some of my customers.

compjock,
if it's OutlookExpress you need a .WAB file which is located under %userprofile%\Application data\Microsoft\Address Book\
Copy this file to your computer, open your OE, klick on file/import/adress book and click on the file.

Bubbablue,
there could be many reasons for this error. You might check this: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;813514
Just go trough this list. I could solve two problems with OE the way described there.

I have a problem with the WSM that locks up when connected for a short time (1-2 minutes). No difference when login with read/write or status password. Happens on Win XP+SP2 (FW off), Win 2k pro+SP4 and Win 2k Server+SP4.
Reboot command from WSM works almost every time then I'm able to connect...
heatherswih,
I suggest you set the time to your local time and run the following commands from a dos box:
net stop w32time & net start w32time
w32tm /resync
Additional tips can be found at...
hi my_kill,
you are right, DLT IV has a capacity of 40gb native and up to 80gb compressed, but that depends very much on what you back up (i.e. many JPEGs or lots of txt-files).
I suggest to use hardware compression - the tape drive controls this. For my environment it gives the best result...
Hi,
on some installation I don't get a notification by SMTP mail after jobs are finished. When I run a manual test mail it works. I've set up BE 9.1, run all the latest patches and they are set up the same way but on some installations it does not send out the notifications.
Any ideas...
Make sure to let Mercury apply the definition to "All mail". I guess you've choosen the option "Only messages originating from the Internet" and Mercury POP3 client gets the messages from your provider.
