Yeah. I've started to notice that :-) Avaya does seem to need a license code for just about everything :-)
It's bizarre that if you get the embedded voicemail (which I thought VM Lite was supposed to be better than), you get extra features such as Auto Attendant, which would solve the issue...
There's no way of doing a dumb transfer (is that what they call a blind transfer?) to an extension or anything then?
It seems a shame to buy VM Pro for such a simple requirement.
THanks,
Chris
Hi,
We are running IP Office v 4.2(14) with Voicemail Lite.
If you set up VM for a user, you get the option of setting a phone number to dial if the end user dials 0 for reception (and in fact if they dial 2 or 3 you can set other breakouts).
I want to do similar with a Hunt group, but that...
Thanks for the link... but you need to pay to register with the site... and until I do that, I can't be certain they have the exact manual I need (and I have been caught out by that before).
Anyone know where I can get it for free / can email a PDF to me?
Cheers
Chris
Question says it all really.
I just bought a new 1232, and assumed it would come with the manuals and software required to configure it. It didn't :-(
I have managed to aquire the software, but cannot find a manual (other than the user manual, which is useless to me) anywhere.
Does anyone...
Hi,
We have the same problem, but we have log files going back to April 2002 !!
Can I clear out all but the latest few? What are these files anyway? Do you need all of them to restore, or only the latest one?
Thanks in advance for your advice
Chris
Have I really stumped EVERYONE with this question? Even postings saying "yeah, it does it for me too, but I don't have a solution" would be appreciated.
Thanks
Chris
Thankyou!
I wish they wouldn't have so many hidden settings. If you're logged in as Administrator, why WOULDN'T you want to see advanced settings?!?!
Worked a treat.
Thanks both.
Chris
What are you using to gain Internet access from the workstation on the internal network? What firewalls, ISA Servers, etc are there?
I assume the Exchange Server is on the same local LAN inside the network?
The problem is probably to do with the Firewall getting confused. You are asking...
Thanks...
But I don't have an Exchange Advanced Tab :-(
I do have an Exchange General tab, and under there there is a "Delivery Options" button that allows me to add myself as a "Send on behalf" user - but that doesn't seem to allow me to access his mailbox. I get an...
Is there any way of setting/changing an Out Of Office reply for a user, via the Active Directory or Exchange System Manager?
We have some users that do not use Outlook to collect their emails - they simply use the Exchange Server as a POP3/SMTP Server. But they want to set OOFRs when on...
Hi,
I have an Exchange 2000 Server set up, working perfectly, with the exception of OWA. The Administrator user, and another user (me, cvoce) can login perfectly. All other users cannot.
There is nothing (that I can find) special about the cvoce account - it is not a member of the...
Hello (again)...
Sorry to be crap.
The article tells you how to set up aliases based on the first name, surname, etc, etc... which is all brilliant.
However, it doesn't solve the problem for aliases that are not based on the name. For instance I am cvoce@, chris@ and flossy@ :-)
Am I just...
Thanks guys... Not entirely sure that this solves my problem, but I will look at it in detail tomorrow (today is a holiday in the UK - Queens Golden Jubilee and all that).
To be clear, I want to "accept and deliver to the local store" for a list of aliases, for a pre-defined global...
It's both of the above...
My account for instance... I have the aliases cvoce@, chris@ and chris.voce@. But we have 3 seperate domains.
We don't want to manage each domain independantly (ie we don't want to have ONLY cvoce@domain1, chris@domain2, etc).. we want ALL aliases to work for ANY of...
Anyone?
Sorry - just bringing it up to the top of the pile... This is getting quite urgent for me now, and I can't find anything *anywhere* that compares the Re-route incoming SMTP option in 5.5 with an equivalent in 2000.
I'd really appreciate some help with this.
Chris
