My new Dell servers are setup this way from them I think to have the C drive as the OS and the D or (E) as the place to store data. The Utility partition is still a seperate partition with no drive letter.
Are you going to the IP address, such as http://xx.xx.xx.yy or are you going to http://www.yy2.com
in the web-blocker configuration under exceptions, I dont know if you can do this with IP addresses but I could with the name of the site I wanted to block, for instance when I blocked...
Are they opening up Word/Excel files? Those are going to be slow due to all the handshaking across the VPN that the files are doing from the client machines to the server. I have a T1 in each location and have the same issue as you do. One thing we have looked into were WAN accelerators such...
Hey Folks, I have a question that I cannot figure out whats happening to one user using OWA at his house. What he does is Replies to an email and goes to add names by clicking the To: or the CC: button to bring up the Find Names Pop-Up Window, adds the users he wants to either the TO: or the...
Ok, I think I just figured it all out. Create your text, dont convert the Text to Curves. Draw your circles inside the text, then choose the text and the circles, then shaping then trim. Move the text and you should have your holes cut out of the text. Worked here on Corel 13.
Yep I understood that your letters were wide. Weird I just tried it again at home and I think I have the same problem, the circle is still there and not punched out (trimmed) the outer one will trim out. This was in Corel 13 here at home, I think I did it correctly in 12 at work. I will try...
So when I do this it looks fine on this end. But your saying that if the circle crosses the edge of like the letter B, that in wireframe view the whole circle is still shown and not the part that is just cut out?
Can you look in the Object Manager to see that you only have the one object your looking for? What I mean was, I recreated your steps to make the same thing and when I choose Convert outline to object, it then made two objects in the Object manager, one for the Text and one for the Outline...
Ok, I think you are using Adobe 5.0 Reader if the only option is to save as PDF files. Since you have Corel 12, have you ever tried to use the Corel Capture software? What you would do is open up the Adobe file with Acrobat Reader, then with Corel Capture running in the background choose F7...
Well I thought I knew the answer but its to Covert spot colors to process. That check box is under the Seperations tab of the Print dialog box, but not the other way around.
Do you have Adobe Acrobat? You could open the PDF's from there, and then Save As... a Jpeg file, which is what I do sometimes if I need to import a PDF into Corel. I am not sure if Adobe Reader will let you do that.
I kind of figured that was the only solution was to reduce the path, we have some folks that want everything on it. I guess they will learn once they have problems accessing or copying the file. One time I had to do a manual backup of a server for practice of hurricane proceedures and files...
I have a similar problem, 20 levels deep and super long file names, only solution I have found was to make the names of the folders and files shorter. If you find a solution I would like to know, but I think we fall under the path and file name character limits.
I think your going to have import the file into Corel. Although they will be imported as a Bitmap image. You will still be able to put text over the image.
Hey folks, I just recently ran into a problem that effected my users that are connected via across a VPN in a remote office. I had all users connected and working fine for 9 months or so after we upgraded to Exch. 2003. This week I came into the office and had some messages that the remote...
