hello i have tried n number of times to install the Visual C# .NET standard version that i have received with a book that i bought, but everytime at the end of the installation process (CD no.3) i get this message-- Setup Failed -- and here is the error log...- archifest

Thanks flumpy Well, I guess i need to do an indepth study in that aspect and not just stick to my course curriculum. But the problem still remains, i tried running a couple of xml code with xsl in IE(above 5.0), it still doesnt seem to process it....i dont know where can i be going wrong. -
