CDRW Being detected wrong in Bios
Thanx for the info, the firmware seems to have gotten fried. I went out and bought a new 32x10x40 drive. Nice of Acer to want to charge me 35 bucks to fix it since it was out of warranty, after i bargained with, hmmm that plus 10 bucks to ship it, i got the new one for 60 bucks and i got 20...- kwaboat

I saw the int13 interface thing in the utilities disk program that came with the drive, and when u mentioned that i went back and looked again and it was outdated and it had 7.82 as the capactiy.
