I get the blue screen when I shut down XP talking about a hardware issue. It popped up when I installed Starcraft on the drive, and uninstalling did no good. At the end are numbers:

Windows 2000 at startup shows the desktop, then a meesage box pops up telling the user that the computer is shutting down in 59 seconds, and counts down. The message makes reference to a NT Authorization problem. Could this be related to adware, or a virus (trojan.download) that is on the computer?
I put a new Motherboard in a computer with a P4 2Gig processor (from the old machine), and when I hit the power button, the computer comes on for a second, but won't stay on. It just starts the fan for a sec, then quits. Is this a common problem with a common solution?
