    If you do nefs you will lose all data. You was using thi disk on partition 2, This means that you mast reuse this partition. You must mount /dev/dsk/c0t1d0s2. You willhave the wole disk mounted on.

    sar -u cpu %idle

    I will suggest to check sar -dq and check if realy the I/O are bound or if the q size is too higth. If you are runing an Oracle application, I will suggest to check the oracle parameters, or the SGA used if it is too small.
