Hello All !
Can anyone provide guidelines as to how to migrate
an application from Oracle 6 Developer 2000 V3
into Oracle 9i Developer 2000 V6i ?
The old application has both forms and reports and its
data sits in Oracle 6 database.
Thank you in advance,
HM
Hi All,
We used to build our EJB .jars for Weblogic 5.1 manually, i.e. using command line utilities. In some cases we would place more than one EJB in a single .jar file.
Now we are migration to WL 8.1 upgrading our EJBs to 2.0.
We are using only stateless session beans.
How can I create a...

This may be a silly question, but I never had a DVD reader

So, are there bootable DVDs available or it's only CDs you can boot your machine from ?
Than you,

Hello All,
Perhaps this question does not fully belong here,
but I dare post it...
I am looking for a product of the same functionality
as www.iisworks.com/fileman.
It's basically a browser based File Manager.
Sure I need the product to work under Linux or FreeBSD.
Any hints ?
Thank you in...
Hello All,
We have 4 Web servers (IIS/ASP) hosting 4 Web sites (one
web site per server). Each Website requires a user to login.
Is there any simple solution to implement a Single Sign On,
i.e. once the user has successfully logged in to one of the Web-sites he would not be required to login...
Hi All,
This may seem like a funny question, but it's really important...
I have a MS SQL database with 36 tables, which my boss wants to move to Oracle.
I tried to use MS SQL Enterprise manager tool: Export and Import and it does the job perfectly with just one caveat:
all the table names...

Hi All,
I am not sure that my question belongs to this forum, but I'll give it a shot.

to call a url from the current page, somehow obtain the data
which the url sends back upon execution and display
this data on the page without the...

As far as I know Unix systems usually do not allow you to open any port under 1024 if you are not root.
When you are saying you 'can accomplish the same thing by eliminating port #s from the URLs' you have to keep in mind that the default port for http is 80 and 443 for https.
So if you omit...

If you are looking for a free tool, then please disregards this post.
1. There is a Java based report writing tool called Enterprise Report Writer (originally from Enterprise Soft, which eventually was aquired by Actuate). It's not the best report-writer in the world, but it works, it's faster...
Hi All,
I want to buy a Superserver system (from Supermicro) to run FreeBSD 4.7 or higher and cannot make up my mind as to what to buy.
Supermicro's tech support seems to be more confident
about Linux compatibility with their older Pentium III based Superserver systems, seems like they did not...

My question is about LINUX.
The reference to FreeBSD inside the body of my original
posting is simply a typo.
Still waiting for feed back from people running
LINUX (not FreeBSD) on Superserver systems from
SuperMicro.
Thanks !

Hi All !
I am planning to buy a server. I got a good price deal
for a SuperMicro Superserver 5013S-8 with Xeon 2.4Ghz.
I would like to buy it with a SCSI RAID Adaptec 2015S.
However when I check FreeBSD hardwae support list (for 4.8)
it does show support for 2000S/2005S but not for...
