Summajet,
we're using Architectural Desktop 3.3 (no mechanical or civil versions, just the standard ADT), with AutoCAD express tools 2000. If you're using AutoCAD 2002, then the routine should work fine. I got both the DSTATES and LFD routines to work, but the DSTATES one isn't as necessary...
I'm running ADT 3.3 with express tools, and was having the same problem with the layer filters. I ran both the "killstates" and the "lfd" routines, and was able to purge a lot of the crap that had accumulated in my drawings. took the file sizes down from 8 mb to 150 kb. Thanks to CarlAK for...
Personally, I've been holding out because of some negative reviews as well. Since the programs I use daily are on the list of programs that have problems with SP2, I'm just planning on keeping all of my security stuff up-to-date, and then waiting for a little while.
Good luck!
Do you need to boot up with the external components connected (why would you want to anyways)? Have you tried just the machine itself without the dvd drive connected? If this works, then you should be able to check the BIOS settings and make sure you have the drivers for the external...
Maybe try uninstalling filemaker pro and reinstalling it? You could also uninstall SP2 and see if it goes back to working. I've opted to hold out on installing SP2 until Microsoft gets some of the kinks worked out. Nearly all of the programs I use frequently are on the list of programs that...
borgunit,
thanks for the link! that actually adds to autocad 2002, but does it also work for 2004?
anyway, for now, i've resorted to using 2002 again. 2004 just wasn't enough of an upgrade for me (thank god I got the trial cd from autodesk before convincing my boss to purchase it!) but i'm...
i'm assuming you're going to be doing some heavy graphics or gaming work? Without knowing for sure what you're going to be using it for, I'd probably go for #1.
hope you like what you buy!
has anyone else noticed that the express tools for AutoCAD 2004 seem a little sparser than the express tools for 2002 and lower? I just recently upgraded at work and have noticed quite a few tools that I had in 2002 that I can't find in 2004, specifically in the layers express tools. I noticed...
You can also save the file as a pdf file, but when you save, make sure to check the box that says something to the effect of "save or preserve transparency".
I just recently tried refurbished cartridges online for my epson color stylus 1160. It's about 3 years old, and new cartridges would have cost $59 for both. I paid $14 online, and they work great.
I have a difficult time justifying paying as much money for ink as I could for a new printer, so...
Well, after much troubleshooting with several keyboards (both ps/2 & usb), the motherboard was basically toast. I ordered a new one the same day.
Thanks for all your help everyone!
I have been having the same problem here, only the error message appears at the logon, and clicking ok sends me back to the logon. I can't access the drive unless I don't boot from it. I pulled the drive from the machine and put it in another machine so that I could go in and set the page file...
Hello all,
I've been troubleshooting the keyboard on an older pc (windows 2000) all afternoon, and have gotten nowhere. The keyboard doesn't work, but no errors come up upon rebooting the machine. Plus, all the LEDs on the keyboard (caps, num lock, etc...) all blink simultaneously and...
Those links will all help for future reference everyone, Thanks!
As for now, I only received the "registry had to be recovered..." message a total of 2 times. Since then, I have gone back through windows update, updated my video and monitor drivers, as well as any program updates I...
Hi all,
first off, I'm running XP Pro SP 1, athlon 500, Asus K-7 mobo, 80gig HD, nvidia geforce MX 420 video card
I recently started my machine and logged in, only to find a blank error message box with nothing but a red X and an ok button to push. This took me back to the logon screen...
