The DS-4700 has out-of-band management and in-band management.
For out-of-band there are 2 network ports (one for each controller on a dual controller)
You need a version of IBM Storage Manager to manage them, dependent on the code level of the controllers. And they need an IP address on the...
Have you performed any traces on the code?
You may need to use something like fiddler to capture the data stream to see where
it is breaking.

I believe that this issue is due to the I-series(400) netserver not working with the NTLMv2 in 2008.
See the following site

I don't know of a fix for this at this time.
If you have a switch that can do VLANs break off you AP's onto a subnet of their own.
Create a second DHCP Scope to service the devices on the VLAN. Then set your routing accordingly.
We broke each department off on their own VLAN, AP's are on a separate VLAN Servers are on another VLAN with...
There is a PIX to ASA converter available on the Cisco site. The config on the ASA is different than the 500 series F/Ws. Even with the converter you still need to manually modify parts of the config.
What drive controller are you using? Maybe a ServeRAID 3 or 4?
If that is the case you need to create the arrays first, using the ServeRAID configurator.
Open a terminal session to the router. Enter enable mode and
do sh int serial(Interface Number)
The band width should show up on a line similar to this
DSU mode 0, bandwidth 44210, real bandwidth 44210, scramble 0
This is for a DS3 so don't go by my numbers.
Are you connect to a host with fiber-channel?
Wiping the disks does not mean anything with a storage server. What they probably did was switch the disks around and broke the configuration.
This would cause all the drive lights to go amber.
The reason you cannot see the system is more than...
Have you enabled NTLM2 on the windows 98 PC?
See this doc
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/239869
It explains NTLM2 that by default Vista is set to.
For a DOS PC you need to change VISTA to use LM Lan Manager(Challenge/Response)if this can be done.
DOS userid/password is sent in clear text.
DOS...

Not to start a flame war. Why the Oracle Distribution?
It is meant more for Enterprise expert use.
On the Desktop right mouse click and select create launcher,
fill in the information.
Same goes for the toc.htm

Google and download from IBM, Check your ServeRAID adapter BIOS level.
IBM ServeRAID Support CD v6.11
Install the Windows version of ServeRAID manager on the server.
That was the old doc.
Have you looked at

There are all kinds of caveats and problems on the 64 bit.
When we went to the ASA and Anyconnect, life got a lot easier.
This is from the Cisco site
Only 32-bit Windows support is available in the Cisco VPN Client. For 64-bit (x64) Windows support, customers must upgrade to the next-generation Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client.
Refer to Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client Maintain and Operate Guides.
We have three PIX on our network doing this. All we needed to do was make sure we had a route to the remote sites with the gateway set to the secondary or tertiary PIX.
