Can someone help me how to pass a parameter in Crystal Reports using CFREPORT? i tried the samples from the documentation but won't work with my reports in passing a parameter ... actually i have make it work to view the reports to pass a paramater thru the URL but i'd like to have another...

nope im not using CFREPORT tag... im just passing the report to the URL like : http://url/report.rpt?promptex-sample="1"&promptex-sample2="2" just like that... and i have observed that when i tried to pass the more than 10 parameter (i guess) to the URL, my session...

yup i know about the 20 minutes standard timeout if no activity... but only when viewing this report which i pass a lot of parameters in the URL that expires, when i pass only few paramaters it was just fine.

thanks for the reply but still won't work that way... what i tried was working is that i used PromptOnRefresh=0 in my url... but what will be the behaviour is the user still can refresh the data. id like to disable this refresh button from the CRVIEWER... :(
