Looking in Meraki, I only see these phones with those unique IPs. If there was a conflict, we'd see the cameras too. Great idea though, I'll keep an eye out for that in the future.
Yup, they've been fine for years. I don't think the settings have been edited for years either. We have to dial 9 to get an outside line, but there's no toll restriction or CoS special settings at all. No line faults either.
This makes no sense. Two of our phones on a particular NS700 PBX can't call a local outside business. Nothing on the PBX has been changed or modified in any way that would cause this. Any thoughts on what might be causing this, and how we can fix it? Thanks,
I have one teacher who can get calls on her room phone. But furthermore, you can hear her voicemail recording and record a message for her, but she won't be notified of the voicemail, get the email, or be able to listen to it. Her voicemail menu says "No messages". Anyone deal with this before?
Where in the NS700 PBX can I check to see what number or extension I need to dial first to make an outside call? For one of our buildings, I thought it was just pressing 9 and then dialing the number, but there seems to be another extension you need to dial first and nobody knows what it is. Thanks!
Hi, we have three school buildings on the same NS700 PBX. We're trying to set up different emergency call groups so if one school dials 911, it doesn't send alerts to people at the other schools. Is it possible to segregate staff into different groups on one single PBX for emergency calls so...
One of our schools has been complaining about low paging volume. I've addressed it once before and it seemed to work fine a few months ago, all I had to do was raise the volume on speaker phone. It seems to be low volume when paging again, but the volume is still cranked up. Is there anything...
Ok, so my UM Unit number is 3500, and I tried to add it to the list of Virtual UM Port Property as seen in your third picture, but when I click Apply it tells me that extension is already there.
I tested it out after school today, unfortunately it didn't work. All calls to the "top level" phone like the front desk secretary just ring right through, no menu.
I happen to have three phone extensions in the front office of the building in an incoming call group together, so if one person...
Many thanks. For my current time control, I have "Period 1" set as day and "Period 2" set as night. Is that what you mean by making day/night a route from x hour to x hour? And what does an outside route provide?
