    Also, I installed a softphone onto a virtual WIN 7 machine, 4GBs RAM just this morning. Programmed a working TN on it. Opened as many different software windows, multiple tabs of Chrome & IE and could not replicate the problem the other 2 users saw.

    KCFLHRC, thanks for the info. After you brought that up, we looked through some Avaya books. On the web, it can be found here: http://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100119577 in chapter 5 (it's in Chapter 4 in the 2010 release). We have programmed the phone & tested it.     You may want to upgrade IE at least to 8 or 9. I currently use CallPilot Mgr with IE 11, but have to run it in compatibility mode.

    Again, thanks to everyone for the replies. I have found out that this is not an option with the Meridian CS1000 PBX. The option is available with an IP Office type PBX. We are currently exploring using Avaya IP Office & will implement it probably within a year.
