I have OPT=N for NDC=A0A101B46.
After upgrade from BC9 to MXTSW, on DTS display, you can see DEST 46 in front of dialed No.
Customer complains that this was not the case in BC9.
Is there any way to not show DEST code on display?
Dave,
Thanks for all your replies!
I understand your instrunctions and I agree with you completely about fiber equipment manufacturer.I also agree that provider should be more worried about this issue than I should be.
I`ve tryed loops on LOMIx boards and all I`ve managed to do is turn off Ascom...
dstrang1, I dont know if you are familiar or not whit Ascom, but I`ll describe you full path between my LIMs.
MUX equipment is on dedicated fiber path!

From Alex:
"Towards the link, time slot 0 is used as a synch channel and time slot 16 is used as a signalling channel which carries signals from/to GS based on CCITT Signalling system 7."

It shouldn`t cause the line to drop. I have the same alarm at one of the site connected with 128kbps link between PBXs.
There`s no QoS implemented, no VLANs and speech is working fine - no call drops. "fouesnant" is right about posible network problems so check the traffic load and other things...
In some of my NIU blocking cases, I don`t even have Ethernet port active, or if it is programmed, it doesn`t have physical connection to network.
Yesterday, I`ve got a call from customer reporting no CIL output. Connection attempt via V.24 wasn`t posible until I did my pull out/put in procedure...
to fouesnant,
I don`t know what TS0 is, and muxs are in transparent mode!
As I said earlyer, PRI ISDN from Telco is working perfectly, and it`s connected through mux equipment used for remote lim (one Ascom LOMIF board has 8 x 2Mbit/s, first port for Telco ISDN, second for LIM2 and third for LIM3).
I`m not familiar with mux equipment and people that maintain the mux are not well trained.
I was hoping that someone coul`d give us a hint what to do.
As far as I know, PCM link between G and L boards use SS7, and "transpatent" mode on mux should be enough to pass the traffic between G and L.

Don`t reset LPU, if you can try to pull out NIU from backplane for couple of seconds, and put it back.
You should be able to login (something like RFBOI but without physical connection).
I have encountered something similar in various BCs, and even in MX-TSW. I don`t know what`s causing it, but...
Can anyone explain why remote lims can`t see GS (LPU display shows 2020)?
Phisical connections from GJUL4 and GJUG5 to MUX equipment are OK (no alarms on Ascom), all Ascom equipment is in transparent mode, but still no connection!
We have one PRI ISDN (E1) from Telco connected to TLU76 and it`s...
You`re right about NIU and NIU2. Mine is NIU(1) with flash, so revision is OK. We`re calling NIU with flash NIU2 and NIU with HDU is just NIU (sorry!)
I don`t remember exactly how my colegue noticed this flash available capacity was wrong.
Anyway, this situation lasted for about one year.
We...
I have a problem with NIU2 flash disk capacity.
Flash is Sandisk 128 MB.
System is BC12, started from INL.
Programming is performed, and when I was doing first DUSYI,
all went wrong.

In one of tryes, I`ve had whole range (1025 to 65534) of ports forwarded to extension IP address - didn`t help.
I`ll try again with range and protocol specified.
I`m using Wireshark instead Ethereal, and there I can see only that RAS on port 1719 (h323gatestat) is going throug the firewall, but...
I`m having trouble getting DBC4420 to work with IPLU in TSW SP3.
In LAN environment all is OK, but when I move 4420 behind NAT firewall, extension want register to gatekeeper. Idea is to log IP extensions over Internet.
IPLU is on PUBLIC IP address!
I`ve done a lot of research regarding this and...
I`ve managed to setup acd overflow and welcom msg. for hunt group with itype=0. All is working OK, and I just wanted to thank you once again for your help!
group 9910 is internal hunting group and it have only one member 101. I dont know how to logg on/off this member, so you`ve confused me totaly. I think that 101 is always logged in.
I do have only one member in 9910 group, and it`s 101.
Hunting works OK, but all I hear is ringing signal.
I didn`t try actual overflow because still was working hours and I can`t logoff all agents. I presume that even internaly I can get WELCOM message if set.
Did...
I would appreciate some more help,
I`ve tryed CDINI and GHGRI, but am unable to hear welcome message for the hunt group.
Here are some print commands of actual case:

I`ve been thinking about simple answering machine on one analogue ext. but I also know that there must be some other solution.
Anyway, I`ll try GHGRI and WELCOM for that group, thanks
