IP Office - Eavesdropping (tap) into another extension. Possible?
Hey, you guys are great! I found the one extension that allowed intrude which is the one he used to get in. (It was not x117 - it was another extension.) It is now unchecked and I also checked "Do not allow intrusion" for x118. Thanks very much again.- zmaster18

Thanks for your response. I attached a word doc with three screen shots. (I hope you see it. This is the first time I am trying an attachment.) System Telephony, User Telephony, and a short code. Wow! Thanks so much for your prompt responses. Interesting. It is possible that this employee had instructed the people installing the system years ago to set it up that way - that he can monitor others' converstation. I need to check this and turn it off. I suspect that someone in our office is eavesdropping on calls made by another employee. Is there a way to have one extension listening to another's conversation without the victim knowing?- zmaster18
